The development of Yauco Selecto over 150 years has produced a rich tasting coffee with an exquisite aroma, having a unique aftertaste.The Arabica coffee has been developed from the strains of Caturra, Bourbon, Mundo Nuevo and Pacas, it is a large bold bean with a bluey grey colour. Great care is given to producing this particularly high quality coffee and careful selection identifies the premium AA grade.. there is a restriction on quantity as quality is the main factor for export. It is hand picked in the Central Cordillera on the farms, Hacienda San Pedro and Caracolillo, here the health and working conditions of the workers takes a high priority.
